Got slack on water changes and matience on my tanks, been focused on the upgrade.Man,it dont take no time at all,to get out of control.I have never had hair alge in none of my tanks before.Whats the best way to get a handle on it.:yuk:

GFO changed frequently, large water changes, and a great cuc as already mentioned...

Thanks for the info. one of my snails looks like its got a wig on.I will get a pic tomarrow.

Welcome to the club, Man. LOL. It's funny how an upgrade can negatively affect other tanks. You say that the upgrade will go so quick that nothing will happen to the other, then you go back to the previous tank, and your upgrade looses steam. LOL...

All of the above are good suggestions. I believe increased flow should help as well??? I have some powerheads blowing directly on my LR since my few corals have been moved to a frag rack in a corner of my tank, and won't be bothered by the flow...

If you lived closer I have a sea hare I'm looking to pass on, he's ran out of stuff to munch in my tank, for my hair algae I did a good scrubbing of the LR, phosphate remover and carbon, and doubled my CUC, took care of it in one afternoon.

Thanks again,Already started on some of the suggestions.Heres a pic of this snail sporting his new ride.:wow2:

Yeah Turbo Snails and Sea Hares and Emerald Crabs will help but the fastest way I do it is to get a clean toothbrush and start scrubbing.
