I have 2 brand new member modified LEDs and I need to know the best way to hang them over my tank. I'm not sure what materials im going to need, any help is much appreciated

I used plastic boarding, stainless steel screws, and created a track system, you can see my build thread for how i hung mine...

I used the hanging kit that came with it but cut them shorter. Picked up new crimps from Ace hardware. Installed "Screw Eyes" on the top of my canopy to hang them with. Piece of cake.

Robb has the most killer system, and it is with a pocket door rail system. Who has it local??

I really like the track system but for now I don't have a canopy. I plan on hanging them from the ceiling unless I decide to get a canopy.

Here is how I hung my Radions. I've cleaned up the wiring a bit since this picture.

See if I can get this attachment to work first time! This is how I hung my Ecoxotic Panorama's. I used a sheet of Acrylic (.250") from THD. Then cut to match the same shape as the tank. Painted the underside black so that from the top side it gave it a glossy finish.
I do have a drop ceiling in the "Man Cave", but I decided to go with Aluminum Framing instead so if I wanted to relocate the tank, I could without any modifications above. The pulley system works out great. I can pull the lights up high and out of the way when I need to clean the glass, or do any landscaping of the LR. It also makes it nice for acclimating...as I can see what works for my coral, while at the same time the GBTA can figure out where it wants to be.
When I set this tank up (1st real tank besides the 14 BC next to it). Had I known thought to paint the back side before putting it up, I would have. Since that time I have placed Sea Blue construction paper on the back of the glass. When looking at the tank, it kind of gives a feeling that you are looking out into the sea. With that in place, it hides the wiring.
