Well I got a small school of small green chromis yesterday and this am my bubble tip was all closed up and now looks very happy. Also 3 short on the green chromis....

sigh can't make everyone happy

Wow... this would be the first I've ever heard of a BTA eating a fish... sure it isn't a carpet with a good disguise? LOL

Pretty sure its a BTA. Check him out...LOL

How small were the chromis? If they died overnight, they may be gone by morning depending on your CUC.

They were small but this am The BTA was all closed up and I have never found him that way unless I feed him.

Is it possible one died and the rest are hiding? I recently added 5 new chromis. Lost 2 the first night, the remaining 3 have made it 2 weeks now. Seems once they get past acclimation, they're good to go.

yeah, looks like and RBTA to me! I haven't heard of them eating fish either! Did you check your sump? My chromis somehow get sucked down the drain all of the time.

Nope not in the sump. Just gone. I do have a good clean up crew so maybe they ate them but the bta sure was closeup into a ball this am.
