Harem of leopards

Looking for advice and opinions on keeping a group of 3 leopards. They would be going in a 150. With approx 200gallons in the total system.

Tank mates:
Purple tang
Pair of black ice clowns
Pyramid butterfly
Blue stripe pipe
Christmas wrasse
Corris wrasse
Mystery wrasse.

My current wrasse collection I question compatibility.

I think the toughest part will be finding 3 young enough and healthy enough all at once.


Species I'm considering.

Meleragis or blue stars.

Hopefully Ralph will chime in-he's great with these guys. I personally would be worried about how your mystery would treat the Leopards.

my mystery doesnt bully my leopards but they definitely know the mystery is boss.i did have to remove my melanarus because he chased my choati.i have 2 meleagris and a choati.

I'll have to watch them both if I add some.

My Christmas wrasse is pretty large and rules the wrasse squad. I believe there from the same family as a melanarus.

Leopards need peaceful tankmates, and ideally should be the boss of the tank as any constant harassment and they will succumb to malnutrition and starve to death over time.

These fish are hard enough as it is to keep alive over 1 year, so anytime you add more obstacles, the survival rate goes down dramatically.

Mystery Wrasses, Tangs, and most other aggressive fish will insure that they are short lived, albeit there are exceptions as noted above.

I'd be careful about your coris wrasse. I had a red coris keep me from having any leopards.
