My s.o.'s new harlequin tusk seems to have settled in and is now king of the tank. However, he's displaying some odd behavior. Every now and then he will open his jaws wide (like, HUGELY wide), roll over onto his side, and LUNGE at the glass, stopping within a millimeter of collision then swimming off like nothing ever happened.
There's nothing on the other side of the glass that could be triggering this aggressive-seeming response. I'm wondering if he can see his reflection and is being territorial toward the "other" tusk! Have any of you seen this behavior? Is there any way to get him to knock it off? I don't want the dummy to brain himself on the glass when the "other" tusk won't back off! :lol2:
