Has anybody built a DIY Majano Wand?

I know there are many threads at other places on this subject. I'm wondering if anybody here has built one? If you did, what were your results? Overall cost? Would you mind posting a DIY thread?

Very cool! Wonder how well it works with acrylic tanks.

On second thought after reading more on that reefcentral thread, using it on an acrylic tank probably wouldn't be a good idea at all.

Still if I had a laser like that, I would gladly invite aiptasia to grow just so I would have a chance to use it.
