Has this happened to your refugium?

This is the first refugium I've had, and within the last several weeks the plants have been dying and dissappearing. I have a 10-12 hr. light cycle on, and a 4-5" sand bed with Miracle Mud. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm stumped why this occurred, and to all the plants, not just one or two.

I know mine grow up crazy and then die back in cycles

As James said....mine do the same too.....if you do notice they are turning from green to grey.....try to pull out the grey and eventually they'll grow back in.....usually

Are you talking Chaeto? Or something else?

Are they plants or algae? What kind?
