Hawkfish and clowns

Is there something about hawkfish that clowns don’t like? I’ve had 2 flame hawks at separate times and there’s always one clownfish that won’t leave them alone. Like 24/7 following then around. I’ll probably put the current bully into the sump to see if it helps but just wondering if there’s something to it.

maybe its the size and shape of the fish they dont like maybe it reminds them of another clownfish

That’s what I was leaning towards too. They’re kinda that that chunky looking shape and swims slow too so I can kinda see it.

I have hawkfish and haven't had any trouble with clowns. For the most part the hawkfish are left alone by everyone

I have a pair of long nose hawks, they hang out by my clown pair all the time. But then their body shape is different from a flame hawk.
