i came home to find my yellow coris wrasse on the floor dead got it 3 years ago from a member on this forum i have mesh tops but there was a small crevice i left open when i fed the fish before i left and he snuck through it

Sorry to hear that. I've had a 6-line wrasse and a fire eel (freshwater) become cat food this way, also despite having a lid. Next tank will be eurobraced

I had a firefish just through the screen! It was 1/4" and he fit. I found him laying on the screen with no holes anywhere. I use 1/8" screen now.
