Just introducing myself. I'm new to the site and getting back into saltwater. I used to have a 75g reef about 10 years ago but due to time and constraints I switched back to fresh. I just recently sold my freshwater setup and purchased a biocube 29.
I have 20lbs of liverock and am going to add 10 more as I find pieces I really like. I also have 30lbs of sand. Just starting to cycle the tank so I'm sure I will be on the site alot.

Welcome back to the hobby. Looking forward to seeing pics of the tank.

Yes, I have noticed that. I have been doing alot of research. Its funny though, alot of stuff that seems the norm now was cutting edge back then.

Glad to have you John... Ya A LOT has changed. As a person that, like you, came back after a 10 year "break", my best advice is to read, read, and read... My next best advice is to take it slow. We can keep a lot of things now we could only dream about but they take time and patients. If you need any help, feel free to ask. There are plenty of us old timers who blend a bit of the old ways of doing things with the new and have great results.

Don't let them fool you! Nothing has changed! Can I interest you in an undergravel filter for your new tank? :)

You may think this was a typo, but its not...in due time many of use become "patients" at mental hospitals to help us with our addictions....

Welcome back and to the club....you'll love it here and if you have any questions just ask as folks here are always happy to answer them. Gluck with the cube.

Welcome back to the world of reefing. Just goes to show that once you have saltwater in your veins, you just can't get away from it for long.

Welcome to the club. Ask as many questions as you want, some of the people here are very knowledgeable.
