New guy just saying hello. Haven't been in the hobby for over 15 yrs. Deployments really put a damper on things. Took my daughter to the the GA aquarium and remembered why I had my tank. And a little convincing from my daughter and here I am. Alot of the stuff I used to do is outdated so im here to learn as much as possible.

Welcome!!!! And Thank you for your services!!! Yes, we are all learning together!!! If only I could convince my sons to do all the work

One piece of advice. Go as big as you can from the start. Because 1) you’re going to want to upgrade immediately. And 2) the more water volume the easier reefing is. Hahaha.

It's also less expensive to start bigger. Sounds counter intuitive as the up front cost is higher but you won't be buying the same things twice or even multiple times only to get pennies o in the dollar when you try and sell the old stuff.

Welcome to ARC and thank you for your service!

Well right now in an apartment and moving to a house in about 6 months so I dont want to start something really big then have to move it. So for now just using a small cube tank. That way I can learn and my daughter 12 yrs old can learn before we really go big. Looking at getting atleast a 150 cube and all the equipment before we move.
