Hi All,

My name is Solona and I am definitely new to the hobby...I found a nano reef tank on Craigslist and decided I would try it out in my classroom. I teach high school chemistry in Peachtree City. I have always admired the beauty of reef tanks but never thought I would be able actually start one. I am taking this one as a personal project but also as an opportunity to show my students chemistry in action.

I feel like I'm a chemistry student sometimes when I do a lot of water tests at once, I have all my chemicals out and am shaking things around...But on the other hand I really have no idea what's in those bottles or why that stuff happens, that would be nice to know!
