I have tried to calibrate my Reef Keeper probe on my RKE multiple times now(w/multiple calibration fluids), but it is still not working. It just reads 10.1 which is the the last calibrating fluid I use in the process.
Can any one help me?
I have followed all the steps on the DA forum...
Place the probe in the 7.1 calibration fluid and set it to 7.1. Let the probe sit for 5-10mins until the reading is close to stable. Than hit next, rinse the probe in RO water and then place it in the 10.1 solution and set the reading to 10.1. Let the probe sit for 5-10mins until the reading is stable, hit save, rinse probe and place in the tank.
Am I missing something or do you think my probe is broke? I have been using this same probe for about 10 months and it was working great on my old system.
Thank you in advance.

Not trying to be funny but are you backing out of the calibration page?

I got a new probe not long ago and I cant keep it calibrated myself.....

I thought that is what I did the first time, but I made sure the last 2 times that I saved it properly.

May want to check it with another probe known to be good to see if yours is bad. I had the same problem. It turned out to be a bad SL1 unit. Might want to take the cover off of it and look for any salt creep that may have shorted it out.

Have you tried resetting the probe data to factory defaults? Here is a link on DA's support forum about how to do that. http://www.forum.digitalaquatics.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10123&p=44049&hilit=reset+probe+data#p44049">http://www.forum.digitalaquatics.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10123&p=44049&hilit=reset+probe+data#p44049</a>

I had a problem with my probe, reset it to factory defaults, re-calibrated and it worked for me.

DA actually walked me through how to reset everything to factory defaults, but the probe still wouldn't calibrate.
They told me that appears to be my probe and that it needs to be replaced. The probe only lasted me 7 or 8 months, so I hate that I have to already replace it.
