I have this red bubbly mass on the back of magicians colony. It's been there for couple of months now, seems to be growing slowly.
I need help to ID this thing...

Thank you

Not seeing it move, just floats

Does it ever expand or contract?

It looks like a red bubble anemone but if it never moves or expands/contracts it could be red bubble algae. Hard to tell from the video.

Have you tried to touch it?

Could be a macro algae too. Never got an answer to the question about what it feels like.

The mystery continues.
