OK, I have this purple/red hair algae. It is very hard and bristly. It comes back again and again, even though I harvest it weekly with my water changes. I have attached a few pictures, one of the tank, one of a close up of the right hand side where the algae grows, and one of a clump removed from the tank. My two questions are:

1) What is it?
2) What eats it?

Thanks!
Chris

Oh yeah, please ignore the green algae. I know it is there too, but one thing at a time... And I have tried crabs (blue legs, scarlet) and snails (nasarius, turbos, etc) and they have not worked.
