i know fraggle reef use to sell them but i cannot find them anymore

If I recall correctly, they were very unreliable. Many transformer meltdowns and near fire. Some people still have some that work well. They were like $5 each or something. If it were me, I'd move along.

Nah, I see the big "UL" logo on there, insurance should cover it, so you're good to go.

Cool. I'll round up 2 for you. I've never had a problem with them. They're perfect for what I've used them for and run flawlessly.

According to LorenK, you're better off removing the impellar cover. Ask him for more detail, or just read though the thread linked above

Don't necessarily know how it is where you live, but I was under the impression that if a fire is started by a non-UL approved appliance in your house, your insurance may not cover it. I'm sure there's enough real estate guru's on here to say if that's so or not.
