I tried to do a google sketch but it wouldn't allow me to save it as a jpg for some reason, so I just did a print scree for yall to get a rough idea. I really want a Octopus skimmer, but the foot print of the 150 is (including pump): 12" x 7.5" The 110 is (including pump): 10" x 6" Any ideas?

I am not to familiar with your setup, but what about the Octopus Extreme 160. It's footprint is 8"x10" and will skim like crazy.

From the drawing it looks like there is a 10x12 section, is that not accurate? What is the total width of the sump?

10x12 is correct BUT, that filter sock hanger in the left corner is almost 5x5"

agreed. +1 . A recirc skimmer can usually sit external from the sump, BUT having had one before I know you then have to worry about leaks, and the skimmer cup getting clogged on the drain and overflowing and stuff.

I'm not sure how much $$ you want to drop, but ELOS skimmers have a wicked small foot print and tend to get very good reviews.

Also, I run a EuroReef CS6+-2 it is around 11X10X24h (maybe a little smaller). It's an older model, but works like a champ.

Yeah, the guy I bought the tank from had a ELOS on it. I can't spend that much to get it up and running.

Look at the MRC Oceanforce 200 footprint is 7.5" x 5.5" It will blow the octopus away.

Member discount on it too? I was looking at a used octopus for $150.
