I have had my corals for about two and a half weeks now, an they have not opened up but my mushrooms are doin fine. I have a 90 gallon oceanic rr tank with 2 over flows, 2 return with double snake heads, model 7 magnetic drive pump. 100 in sump protein skimmer, a aqualight coral t5 dual lamp high out put. Also I have a 25 gallon proflex 4 sump with 4 filter socks an refugium with live rock an live sand a macro alge an plenty of live rock an 2 half inch sand bed in the tank. I have had my water tested at two diff pet shops an my water is on point. I just dont know why my corals will not open up an why my water isnt 100 percent clear. I only have one small lion in the whole tank.

id have to agree there....for a 90 id say a 6 bulb T5 fixture would be much better....you could get by with softies and LPS corals with a 4 bulb...but if ya wanna have any SPS then ya would need more light

please post ALL your parems......pics would greatly be apprecaited, also. Do you have a lot of algae?

If your interested I will be selling an Aquaticlife 6 bulb t-5 fixture just as soon as I can get my new setup running.

$300.00, I've only had it a month.

Okay well im getting a Aquaticlife 6 bulb t-5 fixture to try for a couple of weeks from a friend of mind to see if this is the issue. Also what would be the reason my water isnt 100 percent clear?

Without knowing what your parameters are, nobody can even hazard a guess at the answer to your questions.

Every solution to every problem, begins with the tank's current parameters. If nothing else, it can rule the parameters in or out as a possible cause.

Cloudy water could be anything from a bacterial bloom to a powerhead blowing sand, to bubbles caused by a skimmer or other device... or a variety of other possible causes.
