About five weeks ago we were surprised to find that our clownfish had laid eggs in the back corner of our tank. With only a few days of notice we really didn’t know what we were doing, but didn’t want to let them die, and my wife and I thought raising the babies would be something fun for us to do. We were able to catch some of the fry and tried keeping them in a mesh container in the main tank. None survived the first night, and now that I’ve done more research I understand why. I thought we would have about a month to figure things out before the next batch, but about two weeks later there was another set of eggs. I got a tank set up for the fry and was trying to work with Rit to buy live rotifers when the eggs hatched a day early. Last Tuesday they laid another set of eggs which makes it next around Tuesday night for hatching. I’ve been trying to work with Rit but he has been really busy, which is a good thing, but leaves me without rotifers, so the long story is I have about three days before hatching and I would really appreciate it if someone had some live rotifers to sell me to help me get started.
