I woke up this morning to my red lobo 1/4 gone. My numbesr are good except salinity in 1.029. One of my new chalace is also starting to show signs of distress. And 1 branch of one of my green slimmer is also gone.
I have been having problems with my Bubble Blaster and have not been able to run it full time for about a week. Bubba

SG is definitely too high. But, do you have any other corals that could be stinging the ones affected? Coral aggression could also account for the problem.

I can't remember. Do you have a refractometer? I can bring mine over. Just call me. I'm right around the corner

Yes, I have a refractometer, it was one of the last items that Jason made my buy, for the good of the tank. Do you still want to sell some pods? I am ordering Rod's Food today.........just don't want my Mandarins to go hungry. Bubba

No I don't want to sell any. I can give you some though. That wrasse is high competition for them with the mandarin
How's the salinity coming? Lower it slowly

As of this moment the tank is down to 1.023 and the new change out water thats been brewing all night is also 1.023. So I'm guessing that I need to bring up the new brew to 1.024. I never had this problem with Instant Ocean, but since the change over to Reef Crystals my measuring cup must have gotten smaller/larger. Anyone els notice any change from ocean to crystals? Bubba

Got up every 2 hours and removed 2 gal old water and added 2 gal RO/DI warmed to tank temp. So, I guess I should be looking for something else to go to pot now.
THIS IS RELAXING!!!!! But it do be better than Prozac!! Bubba
