I a couple t5 coming for free for testing purpose. 5500k,8000,15000k which of these would b good on corals. I've always got 50/50. Also what sizes do you have. Not sure yet but I may be getting several sizes I don't use. That I need tested n could give away free. Please leave feed back on your equipment and which lights to use Ty so much

As far as spectrum goes, a mixture is what most people use with the ultimate goal being achieving the desired spectrum for growth and color. Blue=more color and less growth. White=more growth and more browns and greens with less coloration in corals.

Ok let's go with that which of those 3 bulbs are blue which is more white n lastly the other one must b for fresh water plant. Which is which do u know?

I would love to help test them seeing how My live rock has some corals growing on them and I only have fluorescents on the new tank.48" is the size.I was looking to buy some new lights soon any way.TY Chris

Ok so I need 8k for growth n 15k for color. 5 k 4 the trash can

the lower the "k" the more growth but less color
The higher the "k" rating the less growth but more color
