HELP!!! Weird thing in my tank.

I am trying to get a pic of it. It has like 8 legs and they look like roots on a plant. Anyone have any idea of what it could be? It looks kind of creepy. Thanks for any help.

I am not sure it looks more like roots but I see it moving in and out when the lights hit it. I have not added any thing new except for all new live sand when I moved every thing to the new tank.

Maybe a type of sponge. I have a couple that look like long white strands.

I can not get a pic of it. It has 8 legs when I look at it a little closer the inside of the rock it kind of look like an urnchit. But I know its not.

I found a pic that kind of looks like it. But not really sure that is what it is. The yellow cuc. But the problem is it's not yellow.

Sounds like a mini brittle star or some sort of hitchhiker starfish although its hard to tell from the description...
