alt="" />I've had these two Acans in this spot for 6+ months and a few days ago the one started shrinking.. Every day it gets much worse. Should I remove it from the rock and try lower flow and lighting? Every thing else in the tank is fine including other Acans.

Advice please?

I have no way to frag the good so that's out but if that's the only way to save it, I'll give it away to someone who can?
Thanks

Ok, I have some and will dip tomorrow. i didn't think about that because I haven't added anything new in months. Do you know what kind of pest hurt Acans? I couldn't find much info about it.
Thanks

Flat worms, spaghetti worms, and a few other worms as well.

But to me looks like they're are bleaching, which means its mostly the light if you can lower the coral I would do so, or if you can dim the lights then that would be better. Also try feeding the acan some heavy protein food like mussels, clams, mussels or even pieces of silver sides. This will help them heal up and regain their color. Also.make sure they're in a medium - low flow. Almost like a general wash on them

Great, will feed and lower them tomorrow.

Good eye, I did have a fluke with my Radion loosing its fixed program and all my coral screamed at me quickly. I didn't lose anything, it was weeks ago. Perhaps this is a delayed result from then?

Tomorrow morning:
Dip coral
Feed (small silver sides)
Place lower in tank with less flow

Thanks
