Seems to be the only thing I can't keep. Low light, no light, high light, low flow, medium flow...they all shrivel-up and dies after about 2 years. I give any change I mak about two weeks before changing again. Use 4 48in T5s. All my hairy mushroom, softies, SPS, etc grow/split beautifully. I don't get it. Any ideas would be appreciated...all levels are fine. In a 55 with 3 small fish. Not much going on in there. Always used carbon and phosgauard, dose and test regularly (Seachem and Elos), SG 1.023 to 1.025 with a refracto-meter, 25 to 50% WC every 30 to 45 days, over-sized reef dynamic skimmer. Don't know what else to tell you. Supposed to be easy to keep. it has to be be. All specimens came from our esteemed reputable sponsors and look great for about 6 months.

Thanks for reading.

Oh yeah, even tried the invert suppliements and fine filter feeling foods, but nothing. Maybe, it's just one of those things. RODI water only of course.

From what I understand Tony..is that the basic mushrooms like a tank with high nitrites/nitrates to survive....My basic mushrooms done the same. But everything else I have in my frag tank is doing great.

If I am wrong ARC members...pls chime in...I will not be offended..this is a learning hobby. MIKE

Ok...thanks....well at least I know I am not an idiot. According to my kits, I do not have those nutrients in my tank. I wouldn't think the LFSs, nature or others hobbyst wouldn't either. Thanks for the reassuarnce :-)

Shrooms are weird. In my tank they seem to take about 6 months to settle in and then they reproduce fairly well. But yeah they do like a dirtier tank.
