My calcium level has never been over 300 for the whole year and a half that I had my reef tank. It is at 280 right now. My akalinity was a 4. it was a little high the other day. it was at a 7 because I started using kents calcium reactor once a day. My corals still grew a little, I guess they adjusted but I want my tank to be corrected for the proper growth. Please assist me with this issue.

Thank You

I had trouble getting my Calcium over 350 and than found that my Mag was at 1000. I upped my Mag to 1300-1400ppm and now my Cal is at 450ppm.

Ok, Thank you guys, I will check it when I get home today. whats a good magnesium product to use if it is low?

epsom salt was mentioned a few days ago on the forums. i just buy seachem's product and dose it monthly. i've only seen a few auto dosing set up for magnesium.

For calcium lately I have been using Kents reactor for calcium. My akalinity has always been about a 4 so I never had to touch it, but I do have the seachem for raisin the akalinity.

what do you guys recommend for a 2 part magnesium product?

What they said. I had the same problem until I adjusted my Mag. I use Kent Tech M for Magnesium.
