I am in the process of swapping livestock from my old tank to my new tank. So far I have moved about 18 peices of coral over the last week or two. Everything has taken to the move very well except my Colt coral. I have tested all the "new tank" parameters and all test fine (ammonia=0, nitrate=0, nitrate=0, pH=8.0). The only difference in parmeters is that I am running the new tank at 1.023 salinity and I run the old tank at 1.025. I also run the new tank a little cooler at 80.0 versus 81.0. The lighting is from 500w 10k MH to 350w 14k MH/220w acrinic+ VHO (and about half the light cycle). Being that I drip acclimated all corals for 30 minutes+, I don't see the parameters as being an issue. The colt seems to be closing up and shedding. Sorry to be long winded, but any ideas?

I know when I got my lrg colt home from the LFS it took a good week to fully open back up but shedding HMMMMM!

Yeh... When it wasn't fully extending I wasn't worried, but the "shedding" has got me worried.

I have never seen that before! Heres a link I found.
