Help with My Kalk Stirrer

I need help with my kalk stirrer. I want the water line to be above the exit to from the stirrer, but the water line drops all the way down to the exit from the stirrer. I have the line going from the reactor to the sump above the water line, as to remove the possibility of creating a siphon.

Hope all of that made sense, and here's my pictures.

Can it still be below the exit to the Kalk Stirrer?

Or does the exit have to be above the kalk stirrer, like this?

no... turn line in the KALK stirrer UP... (i think thats what he meant)

Edit: another way to do it is put a check valve in the line going into the stirrer... have the water EXIT the stirrer from the top...

right?

The level of the water inside the kalk stirrer will be as high as you have the exit line positioned . So if you want the level higher, just raise the exit line higher. Or you can <u>shortened the elbow</u> inside the stirrer itself to the same level was you want your water to be. As for the check valve in the line going to the stirrer, that is only to prevent a siphon back into the fresh water container.
