Ok so i went to a fish store in TN yesterday.
Well There was a guy there trying to get rid of his two fish... well one was a huge tomato clown && he told me the other was a christmas wrasse.

HE also told me that it would do fine in my tank
I really like this fish.

But come to find out he is a lunar wrasse.
These are the fish i have in my tank, yellow tang, damsels, clownfish. && an coral beauty.

I dont have any shirmp, snails, etc.

Will my other fish be ok ???

Please help me ASAP

He'll just eat snails and shrimp, I wouldn't worry too much.

I've never met a Lunar wrasse that was a model citizen. Once they put on any appreciable size, they get quite aggresive.

Good luck catching him, even in a 55, those suckers are fast and slickery! I have trouble netting em and getting em into a dip cup at work, odds are they hit the counter/top of the tank at least once.

Yeah I have a 55 gallon.
I just wish I had done the research before buying him.
It was just a last minute thing.
The guy was trying so hard to sell him to me.

I just fed him some live brine.
And I would say he is pretty small right now. About 2 inches.

Does anyone know how fast they grow?

&& what how often should i feed him to keep him from trying to eat the little fishies.

We have been trying ( Money is not good right now )
To set up another tank.
I guess its going to be an agressive fish tank now =(

2 inches is pretty small, I've never seen a lunare that size. Neat. They grow pretty fast but it'll take a year or more before he matures into an issue... So you have time to burn. He shouldn't hurt any of your fish.

Net him out and trade it for a frag. Maybe some lfs store credit if someone will take him on. Lfs sells him for you, keeps the money, gives you credit, you get something that has been marked up that you want with the lfs making a dime and everyone is happy.

Yeah I was thinking about trading him in for something.
I dont know how much they would give me for him?

&& also where could i trade him in at?

I just really dont want to try to catch him.
That would take all day.

Ohh ok. I really hope it works out in my tank.
I really like this fish.

He is a really neat fish. I love the way that he swims in and out of the rocks.

I hope mine is ok

How often do you feed them live brine etc.
