My green and orange monti's are bleaching. Is there anything they can do?

couple of months... just added a clownfish and a nem' tho..... these are the only living animals in the tank.

buy more. Crap happens like this all the time for no apparent reason. Back tract your actions over the pastfew weeks and you might identify someting you have done differently like adding chemicals or changing light duration/intensity.

anemone isnt touching and lighting hasnt changed i dont think....(could be wrong). I heard that if you break off the monti where the bleaching has not started, that it will re-grow... so thats what i did. Hope It works. THANKS EVERYBODY!

yeah, frag it! However, how are you maintaining your calcium & alk? and what are they? you gave a wide range of ph, which in itself could cause issues.

turning totally white...... dont maintain calcium and alk (should i? and how) and What does alk stand for
