New to the group! This my second shot at a saltwater aquarium. It’s a 55gal (I think) and i’m running a DIY 5gallon bucket canister filter. ISO cheap live rock!

@gacolt had over 200 pounds a couple of weeks ago for $1.50/pound; not sure if they sold it already. You can try posting in the "Want to Buy" section and title it something like "WTB Cheap Live Rock". Also, Pure Reef is at exit 11 in Alpharetta with a few types to choose from.

Get a frag of a coral you want that has some coralline on it and it'll be growing all over the place before you know it.

Here are a few-
-Read...the forums on here. and anything else you can.
-Ask questions. Chances are someone else has seen it, done it, or needs to know too.
-Spend your budget on good equipment, before investing in beautiful living things (which will depend on that equipment to keep them alive).
-Most important, be patient.
