With this heat spell the temp in the tank room stays about 82. At what water temp, with SPS, should I be concerned? Thanks, Russell

You can probably get away with 82. The concern is not so much the temp, but the temp swing between night and day. If you can keep it at 82 all the time, it should be okay.

air is broke at my apt. right now and i just moved out the only thng left are my tanks. tem in the 55 is 84 hope it doesn't become deadly moving tanks on tuesday

My RedSea Max struggles in the living room cause our insulation sucks... hits 82-83 most everyday right now... I keep a huge fan blowing into the hood and it still gets up - the all in ones are tough even with T5s

My tank is 80 at night and rises to 83 during the day in the summer months.

Does not seem to cause any problems with the corals or fish. I can't be certain but it seems my anemone tends to be more deflated during the hotter periods.

I am going to add a chiller soon because I think it would be better being a constant 80 degrees or so.

Plus I won't have to run as many fans in the canopy and won't evaporate as much water.
