High pH test kit

I have the API Reef master test kit as well as an API pH test kit, when I do my pH test it comes back darker than the 7.6 on my card. Can I buy a high pH color card and use the test solution i have or is there a different test solution/card combo i need to purchase?

doesn't the API ph comes seperately from master kit in its own box. well mine did. and I tested it and it came back like 8.6 and my controller says 8.2. so I no longer use API kit. I don't think its accurate at all...
btw, i bet you should be able to pull up the color card online.

I think you have the wrong kit. I'll bet it's Freshwater only.

Yep , I use to use one of those , the ph kit you want is called high range ph .
It Will start at about 7.2 and go past 8.6 or so .

Thanks for the responses, i definately picked up the wrong kit. Will have to remedy that soon
