I ordered 135lbs of live rock from Live Aquaria. It is suppose to arrive on Wednesday. I have read of some people dipping their new LR in a high salinity bath (1.035 - 1.040) for one minute to evacuate the hitchhikers. Is it a good idea or does it not really matter? If I should do this, how do I know what to keep and what to throw away?
