Hitchhiker ID? Never seen this one

Kind of looks like a star but looks way too small. Currently on every side of the glass and happened overnight. Also I haven't added anything to the tank in weeks. Any advice helps.

I did a little research, says theirs different species. Think I'll be ok if I just scape them off?

Im not sure but Id think that if they are on the glass that theyd be all over your tank as well

I've had these. Scrape them off the glass if you'd like, no problem. There are a ton of different species and some of them are really, really bad but my experience with these guys hasn't been an issue.
