hospital tank needed.

does anybody close to me have a 10gal i can use for about a month?
i have a sick freshwater cichlid. i have a smaller tank but hes a bigger fish.
i will take good care of it and return it very clean. im just using antibiotics.

does anybody know anything about these fish? they are the convict cichlids often found in places like petsmart.
they are greyish with the blk stripes.

hes pretty big is size, about the size of my hand. hes got a swollen
stomach. almost looks like hes pregnant, but like a goat.
ever see a pregnant goal how it looks like they swallowed a big foot ball? lol everything looks sideways.

Tomorrow should work. I'll PM you my number. It's tough to say without seeing it, but you may want to try feeding it peas. What do you normally feed?

he wont hold still for nothing to get a pic. maybe if i get him out of the 55 and into the 10 i can attempt a pic. i feed usually flake food and sometimes mysis shrimp.

i'll try the blood worms. flakes will have to do. i have babies in the tank that are a couple months old.

Rick, I have a 10g and a HOB filter for it that you can use for as long as you need it. Just let me know and I'll get it cleaned up. The 10g I don't care about, all I'd ask is no copper meds with the filter. I mean, I can get a new 10g for $10 at Walmart. No biggie there. If the fish needs more room, you can also borrow my 29g tank, but I don't want any meds in it as it will be my refugium on the new build.

im gonna stick with the offer above. i can get it as early as noon tomorrow. no other meds than the biotics mentioned above will be used.
ive had this fish for a while now. hes been in the family of fish i have.
lol i had his grand parents even. if hes in there for any longer i might ask to use the filter. the convict is my fav freshwater fish to keep.
they are amazing. i'll keep you posted 500.

oh, going to go look at a 68fender jimi hendrex reissue tomorrow morning.
