I trimmed this little guy off the main rock covered in them, and noticed that it had 2 fully developed “heads” on one stalk. It was tiny so I figured it would eventually split, but it’s been like this for about a month now. No signs of trying to split, just getting bigger.

Pretty cool looking mushroom. That some kind of discosoma? They will drop bits of their “foot” as they move and those bits become new mushrooms. As opposed to rhodactis which split more traditionally.

I bought a jawbreaker once and the thing moved a good bit before getting settlled. In the process left about 5 babies behind. Was too sweet for me. lol.

No, it’s a King Kong Yuma, from this rock.P4020061.jpeg

This is now my 3rd round of trimming this rock over a 2 year period, and I’ve never had one like this. I’ve seen them drop babies, my giant green hairy mushroom turned into a donut when it was splitting, but I’ve never seen 2 fully developed heads on one stalk before. I currently have 2 other ricordeas in my bedroom tank that have 3 mouths each, so I’ve seen that too.
