how do I introduce a new clown

I have 1 false perk now and he seems lonely, methodically swims around a frog spawn. he's about two inches long, and I was wondering should I get a bigger 1 a smaller 1, any thoughts would help . P.s. I have a 1 spot blenny that sometimes harasses the clown

I would sell/rehome that one and get two more. But if you insist on keeping it, add one smaller and at night. Perc are usually not too aggressive so they should be ok

I just had luck adding one with my gold srtipe maroon clown. I went with a smaller one and I placed it in a Med. hermit crab box from PETCO. It's clear acrylic box with a plastic mesh lid. I placed him in the tank kinda of in the middle and I left him in it for a day and the female would peck the box at first but after several hours she just looked at him. I let him out the next night and they have been getting along just fine. I may have just been lucky but it seemed to work good.

Ocellaris aren't usually hard to pair. Just get a smaller one and they'll sort it out

You shouldn't have trouble, but the hermit crab box or a live breeder box would be a good idea to have on hand in case things get too ugly. I've only paired maroons after the fact and had to collect the little one after some beatings and let him heal up in the breeder till the woman learned not all men are jerks
