How high are your lights?

I have a Mars Aqua black box. It’s about 36” from the tank bed (about 18” above the water line) Wondering if I shouldn’t lower it a little?

Funny it seems darker now that they’re lower. Maybe less spillover?

My initial thoughts were "cripes you guys have your lights down low" but I just measured mine and they are at the 10" mark as well, lol.
