I have a 90G that I am turning into a mixed reef. Right now I have three maxijet 1200 power heads moving water around in addition to my return. I am looking at these Jebao WP25 wave maker pumps, they look pretty cool and am assuming they are much more powerful, and would be a better option compared to what I have in there now.

I am guessing a WP25 would be better suited for a 90 rather than a WP40. I am also trying to figure out if I should have one or two of these pumps in my tank for the best results. Any help is appreciated.

Depending on how much money you have to spend but I myself think the WP anything are overpriced for what they are. Well overpriced IMO although they are great pumps just not worth it. Koralia power heads IMO are the best value for the money.

I like the idea of having different currents with those wave maker type pumps. The Jebao pumps are relatively inexpensive...$65 for the WP-25 on ebay.

I believe you're thinking of the MP series.

I stand corrected you are correct. I was thinking it was the case the ones that have ES at the end lol.

I have 2 wp25s with my eheim 1262 return flow. I think it's a great amount of flow. I have the wp pumps dialed back a bit. I have a mp10es that I'm thinking of adding to the tank as well
