how much light for 40b

getting my thoughts together for my 40gb tank that will be used as a frag grow out area. I'm leaning toward using T5 to avoid some heating issues w MH.

question is.. how many T5s? (assuming I use very good reflectors) The tank obviously isn't deep, and I've found that its easy to overcompensate with T5 and simply nuke the corals. For the most part all frags will be SPS.

3 Lamps?

I would say atleast 4 bulbs if its for grow out 2 6500 ge and 2 420-460 nm bulbs

Thats a lot of light man no way id go MORE than 4...

Thanks for the response it gets me thinking...

IF 4 was the number I would go 1 UVL Aquasun 1 Blue Special 1 GE6500K and 1 ATI Blue+..

I need to find someone w end caps and a ballast for sale I suppose...
