My Kenya tree is growing out of control. What do you guys do to keep it in control? It's sprouting new branches all over. Thanks.

Eddie

take it out and burn it.......or put some kalk paste on the unwanted sprouts....

Cut off the excess branches and sell, trade, or give them away to mmembers If this is not an option simply prune it back to give it some grow back in room

Pull the rock and dig under the base when you cut. As menbtioned trade for anything (salt etc) you will always make more

I fought Kenya tree for years I would pull out the off shoots but I noticed they have slowed down the past few months and even had one major colony die this past week. Checking water it appears maybe just age as params are all in tolerable levels

Yep check that water because if your killing it something is very wrong. That thing is like a weed.

Sometimes they just die. I had close to perfect water quality in the past and mine had died when everything else in tank was thriving

That happened to me with my last tank. I don't want to completely get rid of it but 7 or 8 different trees is a bit too much for me.

If anybody lives nearby you can have some.

I had 4 trees but 2 have died out at different time, water params seem OK and everything else is doing fine. I just came to the conclusion they just played out and I'm not complaining as it is a weed much like GSP
