Hi all. I have recently purchased a new RODI, but have nowhere to easily install it in my tiny apartment. All of my faucets have fixtures that do not allow for the RODI to be installed, as they do not have a method to screw the RODI in. What would be the best path to installing the RODI while still having my faucet connected to the pipe that feeds it? I'm pretty uneducated with plumbing.

When you leave the apartment, you can remove everything so as not to cause issues with your deposit. The only other option I can think of would be cut and glue/solder in another fitting and that's much more permanent.

Right, I know cutting and adding a new fitting is an option, but management would not be happy at all about that.

I am thinking that the adapter mentioned above is my only option. I am thinking about ordering this adapter https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/mur-lok-ez-angle-stop-adapter.html

I used a piece of tubing with a barbed male hose fitting with some clamps to make an adapter that fits any gooseneck style faucet. I keep mine hooked up to the shower in our spare bathroom.

We got a brass Y shaped garden hose splitter at Home Depot and tapped off the cold water line from the washing machine. Each direction of the splitter has its own on/off ball valve and it's all completely removable later.
