how to lower alkalinity?

i tested calcium today at 410
alkalinity at 4.11
tested with salfert kit and said it should be around 2.9 should i do a few water changes or let the corals eat it up?

I would just do regular water changes and let it slowly bleed down to normal. You don't want it to change too quickly. I had the same problem before.

Is it a new test kit? IMO it is best to have 2 alk test kits to compare with each other since it can easily kill all your corals. I use a Sali and an API and make sure they read similarly.
