I have an RBTA that split last year and the mother was still huge after the split. In the last 4-5 months it has gotten so big that its been waging war on the coral around it. But I haven't had the chance to take it out so that I can sell or trade it. So finally, during a water change two days ago, I was touching it so that it would shrink so I could remove the coral it had overtaken. I spoke to it. I said, "don't be selfish, stop the terror" this morning I awoke to the having split into 3 pieces! BAM! I am the anemone whisperer. This puppy has split twice in less than a year. Pics will be coming soon when the lights turn on...

You know a lot of time a big water change that ultimately affected the water chemistry will cause an Anemone to split. But congrates!!! However now you need to watch for changes in your SPS just in case :)

ROTFLMAO My ex made life a living **** until I told her I was getting re-married. Then she said "I have been waiting for you to ask me out on a date". SAY WHAT??????? Amazing. But, from that moment on, we have become good friends and worked hard to raise our daughter know we both love her. She is now almost like a sister too me more than an ex-wife.

Edit:

Great story Sia. One of my (the RBTA) was getting so huge I was sure it was about to split. Then, after doing that for a couple of weeks it pulled back in and hasn't fully extended now for about 2 weeks. About 5 days ago my GBTA decided to go for a walk and parked himself on the back side of a rock were I can only see him from the top.
