These are my 2 new additions to my reef. Some my think I am crazy, but I love these fish and will replace my clean up crew if needed. So far the only thing they tried to eat were my sand sifting stars, which are in my refuge now.
The Coris wrase is about 9" and the Haliquin is about 6".

Gorgeous fish. I was very tempted to get a Harlequin Tusk for a while. Love them.

:like:

They're gorgeous. I would be happy to take any cleanup crew and corals you feel might be in danger!

I had a small tusk that is now in Joes tank, and I loved him immensely. Clean up crew, shmean up crew. Anyone who would keep snails and hermits over a tusk is a fool.

Nice! 2 great fish; worth the clean-up crew replacement.

I got them at the Aviarium. The wrase picked at a few crabs, but has yet to eat one. My fire and cleaner shrimps are still ok. I read that neather would bother corals or clams, but only time will tell. They both love silver sides and krill.
I don't mind spending $10-$15 per/month on crabs and snails if needed. The Austrailian Harliquin is much nicer than the other Harliquin (Indo I think).
If anyone has had any bad experiances with either of these fish, please let me knonw.

We had one at my work that I was so attached to. He actually is what got me really started in SW.

They're pretty good with other angels and tangs right?

Making room for new additions. I regret it now, but I know hes in good hands with Joe. Yeah, they are perfect with angels and tangs.

About the CUC, personally, I feel they are a very unnecessary part of the systems, nowadays. I have like 3 GIANT turbo snails (think golfball size), and thats it. With skimmers nowadays, and as much good chemical products (ie- carbon, GFO, etc), I think CUC are a fading trend. At least for me.
