I have .....

it's an easy fix if you can get your hands on the Interceptor which was stopped in production a few years ago....

Can i treat the tank? i read that it will kill all my shrimp and crabs

You can treat the tank. It could kill them yes. If you do smaller dose you could be alright but no guarantee you kill all the red bugs.

I've seen on multiple forums that people swear by bayer advanced insect killer for red bugs. You would have to look into it more, but people use it as a dipping solution for SPS and say that they have never lost corals using this method, even with doubled doses

an example I found with a quick search is 0.5 mL mixed in with 2 cups of water. I believe your corals are larger though and would require more solution lol

theres no way to dip all my corals.. would I just treat the ones the red bugs are on ?

I actually am one of them....before most.....

however, this treatment cannot be done in a display tank, only outside as a dipping......that will not work getting rid of an established colony inside tank...

You'll need to get interceptor and treat whole tank at least 2 times....

say goodbye to crabs.....

Edit: or live with it.....

so what do i do ? I'm FREAKIN OUT OVER here!

I have like 65 sps in there haha... need to kill these things

Edit: what about my shrimp ?:(

Edit:

Edit: actually 48 ... not counting the frags

Edit:

Shrimp might make it, mine did...that's been a few years ago....I don't add any acro unless dipped in Bayer Advanced.....

that won't work in a display....might as well use Bayer as a dip as already noted....

I have started using the bayer and like it. I did lose some upscales microlades I just got, but I think that was due to leaking bag and fragging stress.

I do 1ml per cup for about 10min on sps. less time on lps and z/p
