Will it snack on Corals? I have Everything

Will it survive after they are gone??

If you can reach them with a syringe, aiptaisia X worked for me, and I had a ton of them. Hit'em with it immediate results a few would pop back up in a few days hit those and so on .....now I cant find one at all and has been that way for over a year.

I have an aiptasia eating filefish in my 100 and my 300, and they take prepared foods quite well.

Do they do ok with Tangs?? I really would like one

Sounds like an excuse to buy a new fish...JK lol :). I always tell my wife these things, but honey I need it. File fish are pretty awesome I agree

i have one. problem is after he ate the aiptasia he wanted everything else. i still have him in a small tank with live rock. he eats frozen food fine but likes my duncan and open brain. anybody that wants it and is willing to drive can have it for $12. Buys me a sixer of golden monkey!

My tank had Aiptasia outbreak. I used Aiptasia X to kill them, but they grew back like crazy. I bought Copperband Butterfly. She ate them all. Now, my tank is Aiptasia free.

Id like to get one of those Problem is finding one who wont eat Corals.

Grr! I can get to some but others there is no way i can come close.

I had about 15 aptasia in my tank and used Aptasia X on it. Stuff works awesome. Instant results and so far I havent seen anymore.

My copperband nips at welsos and trachy's, but thats about it. He controls aiptasia very well and leaves everything else alone. They are tough to acclimate

I only have one colony of acans in there, and he doesn't bother them. He did bother another colony before I moved it to another tank.

I used a filefish and when the aptasia was gone, I removed him from the tank and passed him on. He was really very easy to catch, even in a reef. They just stop and try to remain motionless.

Very true. These fish are super easy to catch! They just float around and don't really run from you. I'd try one if it was me. They do great work and if they nip you just pull em out.
