Novartis stopped making it. They were bought out and the new owners brought it back.

According to the article it is. I have never used it so I can't say for sure. There was never a problem with Interceptor, Novartis had quality control issues at the plant that made it. Stray pills would end up in the wrong product line. Since they also made products for humans there I can understand why they stopped production.

Sounds like the new owners realized they had a perfectly good product and found a new plant to make them or a better way to control the old one.

Personally, I still recommend heartgard+nexgard combo (nexgard is a chewable that kills fleas and ticks), trifexis, or sentinel spectrum to clients. Just depends on the pet's lifestyle. For cats, Revolution.

This wasn't used on dogs and cats lol. It was used to treat red bugs in our tanks.

Yes. Interceptor is the real deal still. Got a box a few months back.
