Hi everyone,
This is some pretty neat product. I had a slight outbreak of ich in my FOWLR tank and it cleared it up pretty quick. The question is it says to do a 20% water change before each additional treat ment. I treated the tank on Saturday and on Sunday did the 20% WC before treating again. It says to use for 3 days after ich/disease clears up and to do the 20% WC before treatment. Is the WC really necessary before treating addtionally? I took out all the active carbon from the system and will replace with new. Any info. is well taken. Thank you Mike:dunno:

Mike--- not trying to be a smart ***... Ok, maybe I am just a bit-- don't you think that the company that produces the product would give accurate instructions of how to use the product? :)

Follow the directions.

Thanks Dylan...I am following the directions...just wondering how many people really follow directions. My livestock is to valuable to me to play with. I do value peoples opinons in this hobby, we all can always be learning has we go.

Keep your eyes on the fish, Man. There are several times that the fish look healthy, and have another breakout later. Remember that ich has a life cycle like everything else, and just may not be in the visible stage again just yet...

Follow the directions as closely as you can, but keep your eyes open at the same time...

Best of luck!!!

Thanks Kris and Cedz...I just hope I caught this outbreak before it decides to go rampid....LOL

A blue spotted puffer. I started the treatment on Saturday. He i looking better. I just see a little on one of his fins. still treating though. thanks for asking Cedz.

I've had terrible experiences with all meds. Good luck. And that was following them to a t.

Yeah. They get ich kind of easy. Just do what you can with staying away from copper treatments with the puffer. They don't do to well with copper....

Hang in there...

I try and stay away from anything that even has the slightist amount of copper in it. Also just done another WC and treated the tank for the third time. That is the last treatment. Will have to wait a week before treating again if necessary. Thanks for all the info. everyone. Mike

I have a qt tank that I just started treating with ich-x. Not sure about this product but we will see. I am on day two of the treatment and it looks like it has cleared up my flukes issue. Copper will be my last resort. I will try ich-x for 2 weeks and keep everyone posted with full results.

Thanks Silver Surfer.....I have a QT with a couple of clowns in it that was exposed to the clownfish disease and I was told that ICH-X is used to treat it. So far so good with them...no signs of the disease has raised its evil head....was treated 3 times and have been in QT for 2 wks.
