ick

a couple new fish i just got have ick i dont have a quarinten tank but i have a spare ten gallon tank and was wondering what all i needed to do to get rid of the ick?

fill the 10 gallon with tank water then find a filter and use middian from the main tank and use that in the filter and a heater of course. wroung section btw

i noi had my gf do it while i was at work, she dont get on alot, but what is the middian? i am gonna fill the tank with water then connect heat. should i use airstone or another filter? and a piece of live rock and the algue on back wall has ick as well. wierd for saltwater or normal?

i thought the ick on rock and algue is wierd too. but i tried to get it off i have to scrub it off. so what should i do with rock with ick on it. i have tank set up now with the water getting warmer. has the fish and one bad piece of live rock havent started treatments yet. and you suggest adding a little extra salt?

i know what ick is. i have 4 freshwater tanks. i have only have ick once so i not great at treating, then never had it for saltwater. and when i got the fish i believe it had ick. i had it shipped and cant return or anything. there is not al.ot of spots on it just a few. what else could it be if not ick. it there new tiny white dots on the back glass of tank and it really hard to get off? will have pics later.
